Our world was turned upside down in September 2022, when our daughter was diagnosed with APML, aged 17. Due to the incredible work of researchers, she benefited from a new treatment - arsenic trioxide and ATRA, with just 2 chemo doses. This new treatment was far less harmful to her heart and fertility. She’s now well and applying to study medicine at university. Her prognosis is excellent but I know in the past it wouldn’t have been. What you do is extraordinary. Thank you so much!
