2 years ago today I was diagnosed with AML. After 18 months of very harsh treatment I had a stem cell transplant in December and am now in remission. I wouldn’t be here now if it wasn’t for research and the excellent care that I had at Eastbourne Hospital and Kings College Hospital. My son recently ran a half marathon and raised several thousand pounds for leukaemia research. Huge thanks to everyone!
