I was a sick children's nurse in the early 70's. None of the children with leukaemia that I cared for survived at that time 😔 Now,as a result of research and development, and the work of Leukaemia UK ,survival rates have improved for children. I dedicate my message to two of my patients I remember in particular. Michael and Bridget. Now,in a different era, they would have stood a good chance of survival 🙂
